Heather Receives Unexpected Support
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) receives unexpected support from outside Pentonville. She’s one step closer to living a new life of freedom due to the support around her. Keep on reading to learn more.
GH Spoilers: More People Support Heather
On the Friday, July 11 episode of General Hospital, most people show support for Heather Webber. But there’s one person who’s concerned and that’s Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
She expressed her concern about her family’s safety. She tells Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that it’s hard to celebrate when she’s worried about what could happen.
Portia is concerned about Heather walking free. Curtis assures Portia that he’s seen a change in Heather when he visited her at Pentonville. Portia can only hope that Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) will change her mind.
She’s also upset that Curtis didn’t share this information with her before. Curtis tells her that Heather is no longer her violent self. She’s truly sorry for the pain she’s caused. Portia isn’t sure what to do with this information. Heather insists that her case should stay closed. She would rather remain in prison.
Curtis feels good knowing that Heather will remain behind bars. The couple stops talking about Heather. They enjoy their romantic evening together. Curtis asks Portia to dance, and they get steamy with one another.
Meanwhile, Laura speaks to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) about Heather’s case. Kevin shares that only a strong argument could reopen Heather’s case. Laura tells him that Heather doesn’t want her case reopened.
According to the General Hospital spoilers, Heather gets more support. But this doesn’t convince her to reopen her case. She still wants to remain behind bars. Heather is remorseful for her actions and has changed since reflecting on her crimes.
General Hospital Fans React
Heather has found another unlikely supporter: Trina Robinson (Tabayana Ali). Fans reacted on the message boards on SoapCentral.com. Most of them are in disbelief over the support she’s suddenly getting.
The original poster wrote: “It’s getting worse by the day. Why is the writing so bad? Help me to understand how writers who have supposedly been on this show for years can be so bad at writing for the characters they already know?”
“Heather has served more time, and in harsher environments, than she would’ve been sentenced to, had the metallosis been diagnosed pretrial,” one fan responded.
“So Heather who killed multiple people will be free but her beloved Steven Lars is still locked up somewhere. You can’t make this stuff up,” another user noted.
General Hospital suggests Heather will break out of prison soon. While she received support from some of the characters, she’s not getting it from viewers of the show. Most argue that a murderer shouldn’t be released from jail, even if she has changed.
Others noted that the writers are making Portia look crazy for not wanting a serial killer to be released. What are your thoughts on Heather getting so much support? Should Heather get out of jail? Sound off below in the comment section.
