General Hospital Spoilers: Portia And Jordan Unite To Serve Their Own Agendas?
Portia And Jordan Unite To Serve Their Own Agendas?
General Hospital spoilers report Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been pulling some major punches against Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as of late. Learning that Laura had any interest in seeing Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case reopened came as a devastating blow to Portia. She can only see red when she thinks about the woman who tried to kill her daughter possibly roaming the streets again as a free woman.
So when Portia showed up unannounced at Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, she knew exactly what kind of seed she was trying to plant with her hubby’s ex-wife. The problem is…it may have worked.
General Hospital Spoilers — Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off
Little does Portia know, at the same time that she was grooming Jordan to picture herself in Laura’s corner office, the good mayor was being convinced to drop all interest in reopening Heather’s case. To put it simply, that’s not what Heather wants.
Although it seems like this storyline is about to fizzle out, we know better. Heather’s scandalous situation has opened the door for Portia and Jordan to end up on the same side — for once.
Even though Laura intends to call off all interest in looking into Heather’s case, that doesn’t mean Jordan can’t champion herself against that cause and let Portia smear Laura at the same time.
GH Spoilers Tease Trina Picked a Side
Sitting down with Laura, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) made it clear how she felt. She wasn’t nearly as sure as her mother is that Heather didn’t deserve a second chance at freedom or a less severe sentence if she wasn’t in her right mind when she attacked and killed all of those people with a poisoned hook.
Portia is still in the dark about how her daughter really feels too, as is Jordan. While it’s obvious that conflicting opinions don’t sway Portia away from how she feels about this, Trina’s opinion as the victim could make more of an impression on Jordan.
But will she have the nerve to exploit the issue anyway just to get Laura out of her way? Will Portia still seek to destroy Laura’s reputation, knowing that she only opted out of the inquest for justice because Heather asked her to?
General Hospital Spoilers — Strange Alliances Form
Everyone loves Laura, and Jordan is touched that she ever tapped her for the position as Deputy Mayor. But Jordan is also a professional woman who seeks to climb the ladder.
She’s loving watching from the sidelines as Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) pursues a seat in Congress, and she would be lying if she said she didn’t want to see her own career take flight in that fashion.
But unseating Laura is no small feat. Will Jordan reconsider Portia’s angry proposal to put her into office and extract Laura from it if it means it will support her own self-serving agenda to catapult into a position of power alongside Drew?
