Scott Turns On Ava Realizing She Tampered With Sonny’s Meds
General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is gearing up for a nasty custody battle with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) as they both seek sole custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
At the moment, both Ava and Sonny are scrambling to come up with enough character witnesses that they hope will sway a judge in their favor. But Ava has another trick up her sleeve, but it could just as easily backfire.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome confided in Scott Baldwin
Ava just confided in her attorney Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) that she is aware that one of Sonny’s bi-polar medications has been replaced with a placebo.
And while it’s true that Ava didn’t originally alter Sonny’s medication, she did blackmail Sonny’s pharmacist to change the dosage from a quarter strength to a placebo.
But she neglected to tell Scott that part, only that she became aware of the switch. Scott believes Ava for now, and the two of them plan to antagonize Sonny on the stand enough so that he will have very public meltdown right in front of a judge.
GH Spoilers – Scott Baldwin will have second thoughts!
Although he’s all in at the moment, at some point Scott will certainly come to the conclusion that Ava is lying to him and that she is responsible for the altered medication on some level.
And even just knowing about the medication swap is at the least aiding and abetting a crime. As much as Scott is currently blinded by his hate for Sonny, once he thinks about it, he will likely realize that he wants no part of Ava’s criminal behavior. And when that happens, Scott will have no choice but to resign as Ava’s attorney!
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome will have a backup plan
Ava is also playing with fire when it comes to Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington). If Scott does abandon Ava, she might have to put another plan in action.
She knows that Sonny hates John and is likely going to go after him at some point. She could easily manipulate the situation so that John pushes Sonny to far.
Unmedicated, Sonny could actually beat John to death the way he almost did to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). If Ava can get Sonny put away for murder, than Avery will be hers. But would she really sacrifice John to do it?
