Jack’s back! Ted King is returning to The Bold & The Beautiful as Jack Finnegan. The actor teased a possible return when he shared a selfie from the CBS studios back on June 14, and now it has been confirmed that he was there shooting for B&B.

Unfortunately, People is reporting that King will only be appearing on one episode to air on Monday, July 1. Li will have a surprise encounter with Jack, and they will likely discuss the recent revelation that Bill is the father of Poppy’s daughter, Luna. Given that Jack was on the short list of possibilities for Poppy’s babydaddy, could a future twist be in the making?

King made his daytime debut playing Ron Nettles on Another World in 1993, but became a soap star playing Danny Roberts on Loving and The City from 2995-97. He enjoyed success in primetime with roles on Timecop, Dawsons Creek, and Charmed before returning to daytime to play both Luis and Lorenzo Alcazar on General Hospital from 2002-07. Amidst more primetime work, King also played Tomás Delgado on One Life to Live from 2011-12.

In 2021, King joined the cast of B&B in the recurring role of Jack Finnegan, and won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer in 2022. The last time Jack was seen on screen was back on May 2, 2023, when Sheila begged Finn’s father to help get her out of jail and he flatly refused, wanting nothing more to do with the villain.

Will this appearance on B&B actually be a one-off or might King be back for more in the near future if the storyline winds up involving Jack more? You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!
