The Young and the Restless fans already know that Lauralee Bell (Christine) and Michael Damian (Danny) are headed to The Bold and the Beautiful for a fun summer crossover, but they can’t be the only characters headed to Los Angeles, right? Soaps.com is here to give you the inside scoop on just a few of the CBS Daytime crew who are eager to join the crossover mission.
Joshua Morrow already gave us his inspired idea of a “cross-show couple” involving Nick Newman and Steffy Forrester that would connect “the two shows with a pairing that was messy and in a triangle.” So, we had to wonder if other Genoa City residents were open to a West Coast visit, and Melissa Claire Egan and Mark Grossman were more than happy to entertain the idea of “Chadam” in the Los Angeles.
Egan admitted during our exclusive chat that she had “never been asked” that question before, but Grossman was up to the task. She quickly came up with a storyline idea and offered, “Maybe Adam and Chelsea need to escape their lie and just hop on a private jet.”
Grossman chimed in, “And go to LA.” Chelsea and Adam’s drunken one-night stand (or as Egan called it, “second-degree sex“) is certainly a good reason to get out of town because there are enough people who could be hurt by that damning info. Of course, Egan would have to get Chelsea mixed up in the Forrester family’s business.
“PJ to LA,” she laughed. “And just go and explore Forrester Designs. Is that what it’s called? I would love to get in some trouble over there. For sure.” Forrester Creations might be offended that Chelsea doesn’t know their prestigious name, but Grossman is all in for the “fun.”
And just to prove how open to the idea they were, Grossman promised that they were going to “knock on the door across the hall” at Television City where both shows film. Egan added, “We’re like, ‘We were told by Kristyn that we should be here. So, where’s our script?’” Josh Griffith and Bradley Bell better be furiously banging out a storyline right now because “Chadam” is more than ready to bring their chaotic entanglement from Wisconsin to California!
