General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina’s Dilemma – Finds Out She Now Can’t Have Kids, Will She Decide To Keep The Baby?
Kristina’s Dilemma – Finds Out She Now Can’t Have Kids, Will She Decide To Keep The Baby?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest things are about to get dicey in the land of Port Charles. Fans were shocked during the week of July 29-August 2 when a very pregnant Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) fell through a Metro Court window and into the pool after a brutal face-off with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
The good news is that Kristina and the baby are alive, but as of the Friday, August 2 show, an emergency C-section needed to be done to ensure both mom and little one will be okay. What happens next?
General Hospital Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos-Davis Grew Very Attached To The Baby
GH spoilers indicate that Kristina stepped up as a surrogate for her sister Molly Davis-Lansing (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
Alex Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a terrible feeling once Kristina agreed to this and warned her about all the repercussions; however, no one listened to her, and Kristina proceeded.
As Kristina’s pregnancy progressed, fans could sense she was getting attached to the baby she was carrying. To make matters stickier, Kristina’s egg was used along with TJ’s sperm.
Despite growing so attached to the baby she was carrying, fans could sense that Kristina ultimately would do the right thing once TJ and Molly’s baby was born, which was, to hand over the child to the couple.
One of Kristina’s points of contention was that TJ and Molly were fighting and she wanted to protect the baby if a custody battle were to ensue.
Since Molly and TJ have seemed fine lately, Kristina likely would have signed over her rights; however, now with the accident and emergency C-section, things could get complicated.
GH Spoilers – The Diagnosis That Changes Everything
GH writers crafted this Ava-Kristina storyline for a reason. Not only has it offered drama, but it will also probably change the course of many stories going on right now.
The emergency C-section will likely be a success. The baby may have suffered some trauma with the events that unfolded, but because Kristina was close to full-term, the little one will likely be okay. With that being said, what if Kristina is given a diagnosis after the C-section?
What if the trauma from the accident causes a specific condition for her where she can no longer have kids of her own? What if the baby she is carrying is her last shot to have a child of her own?
Would Kristina easily sign off on her parental rights if this were the case?
