The Young and The Restless Star Eric Braeden Becomes A Man Of Reason, Find Out Why
Eric Braeden has played many shades of Victor for decades on The Young and The Restless. Some good, some wicked, but all absolutely brilliant. There is no doubt that he is a terrific actor. But he also happens to be a very aware man. And he has never been afraid of spreading that awareness on public platforms and standing up for everything he truly believes in.
Although many soap fans prefer that their favorite stars refrain from speaking about volatile subjects like politics on social media, Eric Braeden is hardly one to conform. He is never afraid to speak his mind, nor does he fear backlash of any sort. Thus, with America gearing up for the next presidential election, Eric decided to put his thoughts into words, and very publicly so.

The Young and The Restless star took to his Instagram account to urge his fellow citizens of America to get out of their shells and VOTE! “My fellow AMERICANS, let us organize and vote to prevent this from happening here! I love this country,” Eric asserted on his social media account. However, there was a pretext for this specific message.
Prior to this comment, Eric Braeden fiercely spoke about the political turmoil that happened in Germany – the country he was born in. “In March 1933, the Enabling Act became law in Germany, giving the German Chancellor the ability to enforce his own laws without checks and balances, he could enact laws without concern for the constitution,” he wrote.
Furthermore, he explained that the passing of the Act marked the formal transition of Germany from a Democratic Republic to a totalitarian dictatorship. He then added that six months later “Germany was controlled by one party, and Nazi Germany was born.” You can see the whole post below!
