General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Could Soon Claim Custody As Sam Finds Herself Fighting For Her Freedom
Jason Could Soon Claim Custody As Sam Finds Herself Fighting For Her Freedom
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) came back to Port Charles thinking he would dip in and dip out after he was done botching the hit on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That didn’t work out, and it has changed the course of his life more than he could possibly realize right now. No one will see this coming.
Recently, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has dipped her toe deep into the illegal side of PI work, commissioning Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to hack the FBI evidence database.
Learning that the evidence of crime they were holding over Jason’s head to force him to act as an informant was dirt on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been tearing Sam up inside — so much so that she doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously at all that she broke several federal laws.
Now, there is a real risk that she could be caught — and, as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) said, sent to prison for twenty years. What will that look like for her children?
General Hospital Spoilers — Scout is Out
Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) is out of the woods. Fortunately for her, Jason is not her father — Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is.
As Drew prepares to change his last name to Quartermaine and throw his hat in the ring for Congress, his fatherly duties could take a back seat.
But nothing would stop him from stepping in wherever he is needed to take care of his little girl. So when Sam is charged by the feds and carted off to prison, we can expect that Drew will be taking Scout back to his place full-time, not leaving her in the care of Sam’s boyfriend — despite Dante being a great guy.
In other words, there are no worries on this front; even though Scout needs her mom, she has a dad.
GH Spoilers Hint It’s Danny Who is the Problem
Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has longed to be closer to his father for years, but Sam has drawn a hard boundary line between them that has kept them apart.
Losing his dad and thinking he was dead was likely the worst experience of Danny’s life. Now that he has Jason back, he’s not going to waste time by avoiding him.
He wants to make up for lost time, and it appears as though Jason is not exactly obliging Sam’s request to keep his distance. But what happens if Sam is suddenly the one who is kept apart from her son — say, while she’sin prison awaiting a trial?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Isn’t Personal
Jason and Sam haven’t exactly seen eye to eye on parenting over the years since they divorced. Sam thinks Jason’s lifestyle is too dangerous to expose her child to.
Right now, she’s furious that he opted to stay away from Danny just to spare Carly from being hauled off from her own kids.
But when the FBI catches on to what Spinelli and Sam have done, she may have no choice but to legally sign custodial rights over to Danny’s only other legal parent: Jason.
How might this change Jason’s world to have a son to take care of full-time — especially one he knows looks up to and admires him so much?
Will he inadvertently groom him for the business and a life of danger just as Sam always worried he would?
