Those watching the August 19 episode of General Hospital got their first look at Brad back in Port Charles, as he begged Terry to hire him for the new lab tech position that opened up. Of course, Brad’s past misdeeds were rightfully on Terry’s mind and Brad made it clear he was well aware how badly some of his actions appeared. At the end of the conservation, she finally agreed to help him land the hospital’s latest opening and feared if she didn’t, Britt would come back to haunt her.
Of his return, Parry Shen documented his way back to the ABC studios as the Backstreet Boys’ 1997 hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” played in his Instagram video. “Let’s see what’s in store for Brad this time around in Port Charles!” Shen cheered.
Having been over a year since the actor was last seen on the ABC soap, Shen sat down with Soap Opera Digest to talk about his return, to which he expressed, hearing from the show was like hearing from old friends you haven’t talked to in a long time.
Of his returning scenes with Cassandra James, Shen explained, “We had gotten the script with just two days’ notice, which is rare but it sometimes happens. I know it took me 18 hours straight to get entirely off book.” And when it came to seeing old friends, Steve Burton (Jason) lifted him up with a big bear hug.
However, when it comes to the future and what’s ahead for Brad in Port Charles this time around, Shen teased, “Thank you for all the love. Buckle up for the shenanigans that only Brad can bring!”
Stay tuned!
