General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) initially put up a fight when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) tried to reconnect with her. However, it didn’t take long for Ric’s efforts to pay off since Liz agreed to grab a cup of coffee.

Later, Elizabeth agreed to get ice cream with Ric after work, so these two are bonding again – and that could pave the way for a romantic reunion.

Ric has made plenty of mistakes in the past and knows he’s not good enough for Liz, but he still loves her. Could Elizabeth and Ric have a new chapter as a couple coming up?

Now that Ric and Liz have spied Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tossing evidence off the footbridge, they’re entangled in a dramatic story together.

There are great reasons to think Elizabeth’s feelings for Ric will grow stronger, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the man she’ll end up with!

Based on Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) flashback in the September 4 episode, it looks like a love triangle twist may be brewing.

As Sidwell (Carlo Rota) talked about the beautiful and elegant woman on his mind – who turned out to be Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) – Lucky’s own thoughts drifted back to a moment in his younger years.

Lucky recalled dancing with Elizabeth and suggested that he understood when it came to the kind of woman you never forget.

It certainly feels like GH writers are planting the seeds of a Liz and Lucky romantic reboot.

By the time Lucky returns to Port Charles, he may find that Elizabeth is already starting to fall for Ric again.

If Lucky makes his feelings known as well, Liz may end up with a torn heart.

Lucky has been gone a long time and has made hurtful mistakes of his own, but Liz isn’t perfect either.

Elizabeth and Lucky faced their fair share of struggles in the past due to blunders on both sides, but maybe they could make it work now that they’re older and wiser.
