The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Switches Sides and Plots Victor’s Takedown – Jack Strikes Deal with Son?
Kyle Switches Sides and Plots Victor’s Takedown – Jack Strikes Deal with Son?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is furious with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for betraying his family and going to work for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Glissade. However, Jack is even angrier with Victor for recruiting his son and trying to make Kyle a pawn in his game.
Although Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will do their best to weather the storm that’s brewing, it could be tough – especially once Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) uses Newman Media to tear down Jabot.
Everything is going according to plan for Victor, but he’s bound to face some snags sooner or later.
Adam had concerns in Y&R’s July 12 episode about whether Kyle and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) were trustworthy, so fans should be concerned, too.
After all, Kyle is really looking out for number one!
Since Kyle didn’t get the co-CEO position he wanted at Jabot, this whole alliance with Victor is basically the adult version of Kyle throwing a tantrum.
At some point, Kyle may realize he’s made a mistake by teaming up with Jack’s worst enemy.
We might see Kyle deal with some regrets once the destruction of his family business is actually happening – particularly if he’s playing a role in it.
Of course, Kyle’s bigger issue may be with the treatment he’s receiving from Victor, who’s already ordering him around and telling Audra things behind Kyle’s back.
Kyle may have a fancy co-CEO title, but Victor is the one with all the power here. Is that honestly any better than the situation Kyle just got out of at Jabot?
It seems like Kyle traded one problem for another since now Victor’s running the show since he’ll inevitably keep making more demands.
Kyle may feel even worse about his career as this storyline moves along. Victor may start playing favorites and letting Audra take the lead on more aspects of Glissade.
There’s also the custody feud to consider since Victor could easily threaten to cut Kyle loose from Glissade if he tries go up against Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) in court.
Could all this change Kyle’s mind and make him more open to striking a deal with Jack?
Diane may eventually decide she wants to repair her bond with Kyle more than she wants the Jabot throne, so she might step aside and let Kyle have that co-CEO seat after all.
It’d be interesting to see Kyle switch sides and secretly plot Victor’s takedown. As this story builds in the coming months, maybe Kyle could reach an agreement with a desperate Jack and Diane.
In an effort to save Jabot and repair the family, Diane might resign so that Kyle can have the co-CEO spot.
That could pave the way for Kyle and Jack to become a powerful duo against Victor – especially if Kyle continues working undercover inside Glissade in the meantime.
Kyle might destroy Glissade instead in the end and make sure Newman Enterprises takes the hit instead of Jabot.
Victor himself told Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be cautious when it came to Kyle since being Jack’s son was reason enough not to trust him.
Will Victor pay the price for exploiting Jack and Kyle’s rough patch? Will it be Victor who gets burned when Kyle recommits to Jabot loyalty?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle could make some updates to his perspective, so we’ll bring you predictions on any tricks he might have up his sleeve and the stunning news that could result.
