In her Titan office, Kristen tells Ava that Gabi left a message for her last night about resurrecting Gabi Chic. Ava calls it a terrible idea. Despite Gabi not knowing Ava slept with Stefan, she still hates her. There’s no way Ava will sit side by side with her. “Actually, that’s exactly what you’re going to do,” Kristen declares.

Stefan sleeps in bed as Gabi sneaks into their bedroom wearing her dress from the night before. She gathers her rosary to take back to the hospital. Stefan gets out of bed and asks how Rafe is doing. “Still in a coma,” she flatly says and starts to leave. Stefan stops her. He needs her to stop pushing him away so he can be there for her. She admits how scared she is of losing Rafe and allows Stefan to comfort her.

At the hospital, Jada sits with Rafe, who is hooked up to a ventilator. Kayla suggests she go home and sleep, but Jada is afraid to leave his side. Kayla informs her that Rafe has been through this before and made a full recovery. There’s no reason to think he won’t come back to them. Jada hopes she’s right because Rafe has a lot left to do in this world.

As Connie cuts vegetables at the apartment, imaginary Li taunts that Rafe could wake up from his coma, forcing Bobby to throw her under the bus. This plan could blow up in her face.

At the Pub, Bobby reads an online article about Rafe getting stabbed. He didn’t think Connie would take it that far, but he won’t waste this opportunity to get closer to Jada. He says aloud that he’ll go to the hospital right now as Stephanie approaches. He shifts into Everett mode, explaining that he has an appointment with Marlena. She’s happy to hear he’s making progress. He tempers her enthusiasm. “I don’t want you to think we’re getting back together.” She grimaces, saying she didn’t think that. She looks off, perplexed, as he leaves.

At Titan, Kristen points out Gabi Chic will give them a chance to compete with Basic Black. Ava assumes this is about Brady, but Kristen insists it’s good business. So, Ava will have to suck it up and get Gabi to sign with them today. Ava reminds her Gabi’s brother is in a coma. Kristen knows Gabi can compartmentalize. If Ava wants this job she’ll have to make it happen. Kristen hands her Gabi’s contract.

After more discussion about Rafe at the mansion, Gabi thanks her husband. It feels good having him there with her. Stefan will always be there for her whenever she needs him. “Make love to me, Stefan,” she says, pulling him into a passionate kiss.

In Rafe’s hospital room, Jada tells him how much she loves him and urges him to wake up. Bobby enters. Jada wonders what “Everett” is doing there. He just wanted to tell her how sorry he is about Rafe and asks if there are any leads. Jada says forensics is analyzing the knife for DNA. “Everett” offers The Spectator’s support and his as well. Jada’s confused since they barely know each other. He states that he’s starting to feel like Bobby’s becoming part of him. “Already?” Jada asks. “Everett” says he has a long way to go, but he’s starting to remember some of Bobby’s life. She asks if he remembers anything about Li Shin’s death. “Everett” doesn’t. He rubs her shoulder as he says he’s starting to feel what Bobby’s feeling, especially when it comes to her.

As they catch their breath in bed, Gabi apologizes to Stefan. She’s not sorry Eric got his kid back, and it was satisfying to screw over EJ, but she’s sorry she betrayed Stefan’s trust. Stefan apologizes for getting so mad at her. Gabi says when it comes to other people, they can lie, cheat and steal, but they need to trust each other. She vows to never keep secrets from him. “Honesty and trust.” He repeats her words, and they deeply kiss.

Over breakfast at the Pub, Stephanie fills Kayla in on the double wedding. While she comforted Alex after the Theresa reveal, she assures her mother it meant nothing. They have history and that’s all it is. Kayla assumes Stephanie and Everett are back together, but Stephanie says that’s history too. She supports him wanting to work on his mental health, but it still hurts. Especially since he’s being so dismissive and cold. Kayla suggests a girls night before heading back to work.

When Ava finds Gabi at the hospital, she relays how sorry she is about Rafe. “Sorry you’re not the one who did it?” Gabi snarks. Offended, Ava insists she cared for Rafe. She’d never wish this on him. As for why she’s there, Ava wants to officially bring Gabi Chic to DiMera. Gabi gloats about how going over her head to Kristen worked. Ava expresses concerns about her working while dealing with Rafe’s health issues. Gabi counters it would be a welcome distraction. Plus, Rafe urged her to get her life back on track before he was stabbed. So, it’s like she has his blessing. She signs.

A casually dressed Stefan looks through a contract in Kristen’s office, praising himself for his savviness. He worries about running into Ava, but Kristen tells him she’s out trying to bring Gabi to DiMera. Stefan reels, wondering if this is Kristen’s way of getting back at him and Gabi for stealing her DiMera shares. Kristen snaps back: “You mean the way you made it look like I was abusing my own daughter?” While she was upset about that, she can let it go. Now, they have a mutual disdain for EJ they can bond over. Kristen assures her brother she’s not out to get him by outing his one-night stand with Ava. She wouldn’t do that to Ava, who returns with Gabi’s contract.

At the hospital, Jada moves away from “Everett’s” touch. He dismisses her suggestion that he’s developing feelings for her. He just wanted to offer support as a friend. He ended things with Stephane, so he’s alone now and trying to keep busy. Jada looks unsettled as he saunters out.

At the apartment, Connie agrees with imaginary Li that Bobby could be a liability. If it comes to it, she’ll have to get him out of the way just like she did the Commish.

Stephanie runs into Jada outside the Pub. Comparing notes, they wonder if “Everett’s” not really Everett.

Kayla bumps into “Everett” in the hospital. It may not be any of her business, but she’s hoping he’ll be more sensitive to Stephanie’s feelings. “Everett’s” good guy demeanor fades. “You’re absolutely right,” he gravely says. “It is none of your business.”

Connie sneaks into Rafe’s hospital room. Wearing latex gloves, she reaches for Rafe’s monitor, but pulls away when Gabi arrives. “What are you doing in here?” Gabi sternly asks.
