Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord) recently had a one-sided conversation with Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait, which proved enlightening for DOOL fans. It offered a little more insight into fake Abby’s motives, which clearly aren’t as nefarious as they previously might’ve seemed.

“Abigail” expressed guilt over lying to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so she’s not out for revenge or getting any kind of pleasure out of her manipulation.

Instead, “Abby” told Stefano that she was simply doing what she had to do and noted that family meant everything to her as well as her brother.

Of course, Days viewers know the brother “Abigail” was referring to is Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson).

That brings us to an interesting point since there’s been all this talk about family for Mark and “Abigail.”

Mark is raising two younger siblings, Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia), since their mom and dad supposedly died in a car crash.

However, this is Salem where so many Days characters end up rising from the grave. What if Mark, faux Abby, Louis and Felicity’s parents aren’t so dead after all?

Mark honestly seems to be dealing with some guilt of his own based on some of the cryptic things he’s said to Aaron.

We’re talking about an upstanding doctor who was once an Eagle Scout and the valedictorian of his class.

In other words, Mark isn’t some supervillain here; he appears to be a good guy who’s caught up in a bad situation – just like his sister.

Why would Mark and “Abigail” be doing any of this unless they were forced to? Could Clyde Weston (James Read) be holding their very much alive parents hostage somewhere?

Perhaps the story “Abigail” told Chad about waking up after an accident with reconstructive surgeries was partly true.

Maybe “Abigail” was in the same crash that her mom and dad are believed to have perished in.

“Abigail” obviously doesn’t have amnesia, but she might’ve been in an accident that required some reconstructive work on her face.

That might be why Mark and “Abigail” don’t seem concerned about Felicity and Aaron recognizing her around town.

Clyde might’ve reunited Mark with his sister and promised to give them their parents back, too – but only if they complete this mission.

If “Abigail” and Mark aren’t successful, Clyde may plan to make sure they never see their mom and dad ever again.

Naturally, Days will still have to reveal how Mark, “Abigail” and their parents even got tangled up with Clyde in the first place.

“Abigail” and Mark’s father might’ve worked for Clyde and kicked this whole mess off.

Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say some surprises are still to come in this mystery, so stay tuned for updates on all the troubling news and more predictions on this family’s drama.
