Dante’s Breaking Point—Is Stress Leading Him Toward A Downward Spiral?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may be coming to his breaking point. Considering certain psychological conditions run in families, could the stress be leading him toward a downward spiral?
General Hospital Spoilers – Will Dante Falconeri’s Life Situations Drive Him Downwards?
Will the mounting stress become overwhelming for Dante, leading viewers to anticipate some challenging moments as he reunites with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins)? In the world of GH, it’s not uncommon for characters to experience significant downturns, some because of their genetics, others manufactured.
Recently, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) emerged from a dark period after struggling for months. In his case, it was due to the interference of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) with his bipolar medication.
This turmoil pushed Sonny into isolation from his family and friends, bringing him to the edge of despair, only to be saved by the apparition of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
GH Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos-Davis Has Had A Horribly Rough Time
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has faced a series of challenges lately; after ending her relationship with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), she suffered the heartbreaking loss of her baby.
To make matters worse, her sister Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) has decided to cut ties with her, and she was dealing with harassment from the late John Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
The mounting pressure drove Kristina to contemplate harming Agent Cates, a situation that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been trying to manage from behind bars. Fortunately, she was cleared of any wrongdoing in the October 14 episode.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Is Torn Apart Mentally And Emotionally
Now, let’s shift our attention to Sonny’s eldest child, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). He is currently on a desperate quest to find an organ donor for Lulu while juggling his responsibilities to both his badge and his father, Sonny.
He talked to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about taking a family leave to deal with Lulu’s precarious situation and their son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr); he looked depressed and exhausted.
Let’s summarize this-Dante is stressed about Lulu and might have job issues. On top of that, he has to deal with the upcoming loss of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
It’s been confirmed she’ll be killed; this means Dante will soon face a life filled with grief-can he handle everything, or fall into a dark depression like his father and sister?
We can picture a scenario where Dante loses Sam, struggles at work, and Lulu narrowly escapes death but survives, facing a long recovery ahead. Although Dante has not had problems with alcohol in the past, that doesn’t mean he won’t in the future.
It’s easy to see him turning to substances to cope with all the stress he’s dealing with. If he does, it would mark a significant change for Dante, who always maintained a strong moral stance since breaking free from the mind control he experienced while involved with the WSB.a
