But viewers wonder if the seeming revival of their romance was just part of the discovery of their daughter. The one-time married couple thought their daughter died years ago. But a classic soap technique re-imagined history.

Eve, now known as Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), was stolen by Cole’s deranged aunt and was not lost in childbirth. That revelation naturally evoked shared emotions for her parents.

Erin is killing it in her second role on this show. Devoted fans recall Erin playing a younger version of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) from 2008 to 2010.

She was followed by daytime veteran Emme Rylan (2010 through 2013), whose edition memorably included the heiress era. Melissa Ordway has played Abby since 2013, and her version of the character has considerably matured.

While one must suspend disbelief in accepting the Newman family’s embrace of Claire, it is digestible based on the skill of all actors involved.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Ready For Love

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is arguably Victoria’s greatest love. J.T. Hellstrom (played by Heinle’s former real-life husband, Thad Luckinbill) will always be a significant person in Victoria’s life because of their son, Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu).

Cole’s importance is that he was Victoria’s second love, following the late Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves). He died in what feels like an impossible thirty-one years ago.

Victoria’s marriage to Cole followed an initial storyline that might have made them siblings. Part of that storyline was mined when it was learned that Jordan avenged her sister’s death, having blamed Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for Eve Howard’s (Margaret Mason) early demise.

Cole and Victoria honored his late mother when naming their daughter Eve. Flashbacks to that storyline helped to inform newer viewers and remind longtime fans of the deep connection Cole and Victoria once shared.

Marrying Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) proved to be a terrible mistake. While Victoria loved him, he will forever be remembered for eventually turning on her just before being accidentally killed by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). So, Cole came back into her life at the right time.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cole Howard Puts His Life On Hold

Talk of eventually returning to England provides an opening for Peck’s character to depart the show. But Cole has not wanted to do so.

Building a relationship with Claire is keeping Cole in GC. However, his rekindled feelings for Victor are also a major factor in his remaining in town.

Peck is not on Y&R’s main online cast list, and his name appears at the end of the credits, along with other recurring players. However, that would not prevent him and Victoria from continuing to explore a revived relationship that possibly ends in what would be their third marriage.
