Lucy Kidnaps Faith as Last Resort – Channels Grandma Sheila Carter from B&B?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may not be the only one with some mental health issues that need to be addressed. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has downplayed the idea that Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is a stalker, but she honestly seems like one to us!
We get why a young teen in Lucy’s position might be lonely and latch onto someone like Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). It’s easy to see why Lucy looks up to Faith and wants to be friends, but she’s gone way too far.
Lucy couldn’t take the hint when Faith tried to shut things down, so Faith had to flat-out tell her that the age gap was weird and that their friendship wasn’t going to work.
Although Lucy acted like she could accept that, she obsessed over Faith even harder after their accident.
Now Lucy has been complaining about Sharon keeping them apart, so Faith had to once again spell out that Lucy should find pals her own age.
Of course, Faith hasn’t been able to get through to Lucy up to now. There’s no reason to think Lucy will truly back off for long.
In fact, Faith’s latest rejection could make Lucy even more determined to take matters into her own hands and try to force this friendship.
Faith already brought up the idea of Lucy perhaps needing a shrink, so Y&R may be laying the groundwork for another mental health story twist.
After all, Lucy has some unstable genes since her biological grandmother is Sheila Carter from The Bold and the Beautiful.
Sheila has a history of unhinged behavior, so maybe it runs in the family!
What if Lucy channels Grandma Sheila by crossing the line and doing something crazy?
Could Lucy kidnap Faith to stop her from going back to college and force her to listen?
Lucy might knock Faith out and tie her up somewhere if she comes unglued.
Since Lucy has slowly been inching into disturbing territory, we wouldn’t put it past her to abduct Faith and lock her up somewhere.
Faith’s disappearance would really send Sharon over the edge, so it could tie in with her story about targeting Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), too.
Whatever the case, Lucy has indeed been fixated on Faith and has arguably exhibited some stalkerish tendencies, so stick with us for predictions on how far she’ll take her obsession.
